Function: This function is used to learn the tire pressure sensor after replacing it.
Equipment Used: CRT5011/CRT5011 V2, LAUNCH LTR-05 RF Universal LTR-V Sensor
Tested Vehicle Model: 2019 BMW 325Li
Fault Description: The vehicle’s tire pressure warning light is on, and no tire pressure value is displayed.
Operation Guide:
1. Turn on the LAUNCH tire pressure device CRT5011/CRT5011 V2, and select the vehicle model in sequence: 【Tire Pressure System】→【BMW】→【3 Series】→【2014/01-2019/12 (433MHZ)】to enter the vehicle model menu (as shown in the figure below).
2. Select 【Activate】, and activate the four tire pressure sensors in sequence according to their positions. It is found that the right rear tire cannot be activated, so it is determined that the right rear tire pressure sensor is faulty (as shown in the figure below).
3. Install the programmed LAUNCH tire pressure sensor to the right rear tire (as shown in the figure below).
4. Return to the main interface and select 【Learning Process】. The learning type of this vehicle model is self-learning (as shown in the figure below).
5. After locking the vehicle and letting it hibernate for 20 minutes, access the central control infotainment system and select 【Vehicle Status】 (as shown in the figure below).
6. Select 【Tire Pressure Monitoring (RDC)】 (as shown in the figure below).
7. Select 【Tire Settings】 (as shown in the figure below).
8. Adjust the relevant tire information; if no changes are needed, directly select 【Save Tire Settings】
9. After saving the tire information settings, the combination instrument will prompt that Tire Pressure Monitoring (RDC) reset is in progress, and the central control screen will display the self-learning progress when the vehicle is driving. (as shown in the figure below)
10. Choose a relatively smooth road, drive at a speed of over 30KM/H for 10 minutes. After the self-learning is successful, the tire pressure value will be displayed, and the tire pressure warning light on the instrument panel will turn off.
