In this post we will show how to restore factory settings on X431 scanner and fix app download failure.
Q: Hi, App is disappearing in my screen, when I try to re-donwload it, the LAUNCH X431 PAD VII block on me.




A: Hi, this seems to be Google Chrome organizing the re-installation of the app, please follow the instructions below.
1. Please remove Google Chrome from the LAUNCH X431 PAD VII main page.
2. Please Restore Factory Setting.
1) Click Setting here:


2) Click Reset Options:

3) Click Erase all Data (factory reset)

4) RESET DEVICE

5) Re-enter the device after successful recovery.

6) Re-download the APP (You can redownload App in ”App Init”), log into your X431 account, and you can successfully download the software
