To enable the online programming feature of Launch X431 PRO 5, Launch X431 PAD V Elite, Launch X431 PAD VII Elite, proceed as follows：
1. Connect the Launch X431 PRO 5, Launch X431 PAD V Elite, Launch X431 PAD VII Elite, X431 APP main, on the scanner as shown in the picture below:
2. Go to Other Modules – Equipment – file management – cnlaunch folder – Launch X431 PRO 5, Launch X431 PAD V Elite, Launch X431 PAD VII Elite – assets directory and find the file named stdcfg.ini
3. Open stdcfg.ini with a text editor
4. Click the Edit button at the top right to make the file in the editing state.
5. Find the onlineflash and flash fields, the default value is 0, which means that the diagnostic software does not support online programming
6. Click the corresponding field, change the value to 1, and then save.
After saving successfully, the corresponding value will change to 1, as shown in the circle below, indicating that the diagnostic software can support the online programming function.
Note: The online programming feature can be set up in all regions except Spain, Portugal, USA, Mexico and Canada by following the steps above. The online programming menu would not display on the home page. Enter the appropriate diagnostic software to get the online programming option.
